He’ll be back!
2018 is proving to be tough on the tickers of a couple prominent figures in horror. Recently, Kevin Smith suffered a massive heart attack and, today, we’re hearing that Arnold Schwarzenegger is recovering from heart surgery. While the former California “Governator” is on the mend, all of us here at Horror Freak News send our hearts out to him (pun intended).

According to Daniel Ketchell, the former California governor underwent a planned procedure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday to replace a pulmonic valve that had previously been replaced in 1997 due to a congenital heart defect.
“Governor’s Schwarzenegger’s pulmonic valve was successfully replaced and he is currently recovering from the surgery and is in stable condition,” Ketchell’s statement read. “We want to thank the entire medical team for their tireless efforts.”
“His first words were actually, ‘I’m back,'” Ketchell added later.
Despite denials, rumors are swirling that Schwarzenegger will have a cameo in Shane Black’s Predator reboot, The Predator. We’ll know for sure when that film hit theaters on September 14th.
The Predator’s sizable ensemble cast includes Thomas Jane, Jake Busey, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Augusto Aguilera (and not Arnold Schwarzenegger *wink*wink*).
