Body actor Javier Botet is well-known to horror fans for bringing to life a multitude of terrifying creatures. From the titular phantom in Mama to the hideous leper in IT, he’s known for his unusually long arms, legs, and fingers. Botet suffers from Marfan Syndrome, a disease that affects the connective tissues and joints.
Marfan comes with a host of issues, including trouble breathing and fatigue, but Botet has overcome these challenges to become a hero to anyone with an obstacle to face. In fact, he’s an inspiration to anyone who aspires to play creepy creatures in films or television.
