At the risk of sounding like an angry fan-boy millennial, I’m almost fuming over the lack of trailer for Blumhouse‘s Halloween (even though the flick is just 4.5 months away)–especially after the Blumhouse Twitter Page made what many felt was a veiled promise to release the trailer before Upgrade, which hit theaters nationwide today.
Or, we all go see UPGRADE June 1st?!

Well, I’ve just come home from an early screening and I’m sad to report: No dice. There was a trailer premiere, however; moviegoers can get their first peek at Unfriended: Dark Web, slated for release on July 20th. It hasn’t hit the Internet yet, but we’ll bring it your way just as soon as it dropped.

As for Upgrade, it’s well worth the price of admission—with or without a trailer for Halloween. Check out the trailer, synopsis, and poster below. Enjoy!
Official Synopsis: A brutal mugging leaves Grey Trace paralyzed in the hospital and his beloved wife dead. A billionaire inventor soon offers Trace a cure — an artificial intelligence implant called STEM that will enhance his body. Now able to walk, Grey finds that he also has superhuman strength and agility — skills he uses to seek revenge against the thugs who destroyed his life.
Upgrade is written and directed by Leigh Whannell and stars Logan Marshall-Green, Richard Anastasios, and Rosco Campbell.
