Heist-gone-wrong flicks aren’t exactly uncharted territory. We’ve seen many come and go through the years, and while few may unanimously rank as all-time favorites, we do see a lot of good ones hit the market. Botched was slick. The People Under the Stairs was a flawed piece of commentary from Wes Craven (may God rest his soul) that went on to garner a very strong and loyal following. Hell Fire is one of the best and most often overlooked of the bunch. You’re Next was amazing. Again, these movies aren’t brand new to fans, but that’s not much of an issue if filmmakers can continue to make similar films that succeed on numerous levels. Crush the Skull looks like it could be another winner in the sub-genre.
