Though horror movie villains have crossed paths in numerous comic book crossovers, genre fans haven’t had a truly satisfying battle royale since 2003’s Freddy vs Jason. Sure, Alien vs Predator was okay, but what most people seem to be craving is a match-up of slayers in human form, know what I mean? Another awesome avenue for experiencing fancifully fiendish crossovers is the arena of fan-films, like Michael Myers Versus Jason Voorhees, which we shared recently.
I’ve put some serious thought into some horror villain crossover match-ups I’d really like to see. I even went so far as to create mock-synopses for each one, as though each is (or will be) an actual film. As someone who spends most of his time reporting on other folks’ creative projects, it was extremely enjoyable letting my own creative juices flow.
Give my proposed match-ups a look-see below and let me know what you think in the Comments section! Which one of these would you most like to see made into an actual film? And what’s a match-up you’d like to see happen in real life? Let’s debate!
And if there’s a producer out there completely enamored by one of these brilliant ideas, give me a buzz. I’d be happy to come on board as your chief screenplay writer!
