If you didn’t enjoy Starz’s new series Ash vs Evil Dead, you may want to check your own pulse, you may be as dead as those devilish Deadites that seem to find Ash no matter where he holes up.
The first season was loaded with exciting moments and gruesome death scenes. Hell, we even headed back to the classic cabin where Ash lost his hand decades ago.
Wait… did we mention Ash’s severed hand was also a kick ass part of season one of Ash vs Evil Dead?
Agree? Gimme five!
Onto the real news. The gang behind Ash vs Evil Dead are already gearing up promotional goodies to get fans primed for the return of the show. We’ll have to wait until October rolls around to jump back on this wagon, but this is a project worth waiting on, so no complaints from us.
The second season will get rolling along with Ash, who’s leaving Jacksonville in his rearview mirror and looking onward to Elk Grove. Ash finds himself forced to rely on nemesis, Ruby, as Ash’s return to Elk Grove ignites the pits of hell and all sorts of nasties break free to keep “The Chin” active, doing what he does best in slaughtering demons.
In addition to the iconic Bruce Campbell, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo and Lucy Lawless will all reprise their roles. New cast mates include Lee Majors, who will play Brock Williams, Ash’s old man, Ted Raimi as Ash’s lifelong buddy Chet Kaminski and Michelle Hurd, who plays Linda, Ash’s high school sweetheart.
Now that you’ve been brought up to speed, check out the teaser for season two!
