Ed and Lorraine Warren are parapsychology’s most famous demonologists; the married paranormal investigators served as the inspiration for The Conjuring film franchise, as well as the Annabelle spin-offs. Just like in the films (which feature Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as Loraine and Ed respectively) the pair kept many of the “cursed” items they came across during their terrifying careers—and all of them reside in the basement of the couple’s house in Monroe, Connecticut; they call it The Occult Museum. Ed passed away over a decade ago, but Lorraine still opens the museum up for exploration on rare occasions. Check out some pictures below from an interview Loraine gave with People Magazine in 2006.

Official Synopsis: This was an intimate event hosted at Lorraine Warren’s home in Connecticut. It was a great chance to meet a wonderful woman who just happens to be a living legend in our eyes. Afterwards we toured the haunted Occult Museum which houses the feared Annabelle Doll among many other strange relics they have collected over the years. It was also an excellent chance to see some of Ed Warrens artwork. The museum has a certain vibe to it that is unmistakable; you can almost feel it as you watch the footage….so be warned….
