Yesterday, Emma released a follow-up video featuring interviews with Terrifier writer/director Damien Leone and David Howard Thornton, the actor who brought Art the Clown to life. They delve deep into the sinister fiend’s origins, revealing he’s something of an amalgamation of Freddy Krueger and Charlie Chaplin.
While he doesn’t spill all the beans, Leone assures us that Art does indeed have a backstory, one he fears may disappoint up to 40% of Terrifier fans. Leone and Thornton dispel a few myths, making it easier for fans to narrow our focus in continued efforts to unravel the mystery that is Art. The biggest reveal, however, is that Art may himself be unaware of the true extent of his abilities.
