“We’re all Walter.”
We had been told to expect another trailer today for Ridley Scott’s Alien-prequel/Prometheus-sequel today, one that features the crew’s new android Walter (played by Michael Fassbender), a new version of the David android in Prometheus. What we got was a short-film stand-alone with all the sci-fi creepiness of films like Blade Runner and the HBO series Westworld.
Meet Walter in the video below: A documentation of his inception. The film ends with an invitation to reserve you’re very own Walter android at MeetWalter.com.
Official Synopsis: Introducing Walter, the latest synthetic by Weyland-Yutani. Created to serve. Intelligence powered by AMD technology.
