Chucky may be the King of 20th Century evil dolls, but in the 21st Century, Annabelle is Queen! The diminutive devil doll stole the show when she first appeared in 2012’s The Conjuring, an appearance that launched her own franchise. Annabelle 2 is slated to hit US theaters on August 11th. Part of Annabelle’s appeal, of course, is that she is based on a true story.
The real Annabelle doll has been imprisoned in the occult museum of famous demonologists Ed and Loraine Warren since the 1970s, after she was linked to the deaths of two people. Due to zoning issues, however, Annabelle is being moved to a new location—for the very first time.
You can watch the event unfold live on Facebook tonight (February 22nd) at 6:30 PM PST, HERE. The transfer will be conducted by Dan Rivera and Tony Spera, directors of The Warren Occult Museum.
The Annabelle doll is held in a case with the stern warning: “Positively Do Not Open”.
No doubt Horror Freaks and paranormal enthusiasts will be turning out in droves to see if anything supernatural happens during the process. Will you be tuning in?
