Every October rolls around and fanatics begin buzzing, all chatter and speculation. What will the new season of American Horror Story be about? Who will be in it? What twisted location will play host to blood-soaked savagery? Questions, questions, questions…
As is customary of co-creator Ryan Murphy, he’s maintaining silence. The man enjoys shocking the hell out of viewers and that trend isn’t likely to change anytime soon. That’s where FX president John Landgraf steps in to gift fans a little bit of insight that Murphy more than likely had hoped to keep under wraps until the promotional campaign got underway.
According to Landgraf this new season will take place in the present… most of the time. There will be a concurrent storyline taking place in the past that reflects the modern day goings on. Kooky and interesting, but not entirely unheard of from AHS.
These lunatics will do just about anything to shock fans and thwart our foolhardy predictions. I mean really, is there anything about American Horror Story that is predictable?
As of now, American Horror Story season six’s only confirmed returning cast member is Emma Roberts, who missed out on the Hotel craziness due to her stint on FOX’s Scream Queens. Ryan Murphy has also made it known that he’d like Lady Gaga to come back, but that too lacks solid confirmation, though it seems likely that Gaga will indeed sign the dotted line.
We’ll have more AHS news headed your way soon as we grow ever closer to the October return.
