Black Panther is on track to dominate this weekend’s box office, which feels especially appropriate during Black History Month. Of course, T’Challa isn’t the first superhero of African descent to get a feature film. The Blade Trilogy was launched in 1998 and starred Wesley Snipes as the titular vampire hunter created by Marvel.
