We’ve been following news regarding a Conjuring 2 spinoff featuring the blasphemous Nun, aka the demon Valak, since the project was first announced in early February. To recap:
Corin Hardy is set to direct New Line’s “The Nun,” a spinoff to the film “The Conjuring,” an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap. Written by Gary Dauberman and James Wan, “The Nun” will be produced by Wan and Peter Safran. Hardy’s most recent credit includes “The Hallow,” which he directed and wrote. He was signed on to direct Relativity’s “The Crow” remake, but parted ways with the project last March.
We now have proof that The Nun is moving along at full steam; proof came in the form of a tweet from director Hardy:

Details regarding the plot of The Nun are scares at this time. We don’t even know the actors involved yet. Of course, we expect news to begin flowing soon so check back often for updates on The Nun and all your favorite horror movies!
