You just can’t keep a good T-800 down!
Despite reports in 2017 that the Terminator franchise was being scrapped for a reboot without mainstay Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former “Govinator” of California will be back for an as-yet-untitled 6th installment in the seminal franchise launched by James Cameron in 1984. He’ll be re-teaming with Linda Hamilton, star of the first two Terminator films.
Arnold dropped details, including approximate production dates, at a sporting festival in Ohio this weekend.
Schwarzenegger: “We are starting to shoot Terminator 6 in June to the middle of October, so I am in that. I am looking forward to coming back as the T-800 model. It’s gonna be great with Tim Miller as the director and Jim Cameron is kind of supervising the whole thing.”
We’ll be keeping our ears to the ground in order to bring you additional Terminator news as additional details emerge. Stay tuned!
