Remember when we reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger shot down rumors of a cameo in Shane Black’s Predator reboot, The Predator, arriving in theaters this summer? Remember when I said, “Yeah right!”? Well, I’m not the only one who thinks rumors of Arnie’s absence are just a ruse. And we’re just now hearing that The Predator is undergoing some reshoots, fanning speculation that Dutch will indeed be returning to the big screen for the first time since 1987.

We had also reported that audience reactions to test-screenings of The Predator were mixed, so it makes sense producers would want to make some adjustments.
Per Omega Underground:
While we’re still waiting for the first trailer for Fox’s The Predator it looks like the Shane Black sequel will be putting finishing touches next month. Omega Underground has learned that they’ll be returning to Vancouver to complete pickups/reshoots for two weeks in March.
The Predator’s sizable ensemble cast includes Thomas Jane, Jake Busey, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Augusto Aguilera (and not Arnold Schwarzenegger *wink*wink*).
In the original Predator (Official Synopsis): Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a soldier of fortune, is hired by the U.S. government to secretly rescue a group of politicians trapped in Guatemala. But when Dutch and his team, which includes weapons expert Blain (Jesse Ventura) and CIA agent George (Carl Weathers), land in Central America, something is gravely wrong. After finding a string of dead bodies, the crew discovers they are being hunted by a brutal creature with superhuman strength and the ability to disappear into its surroundings.
Ironically, director Shane Black had a bit-part in Predator, alongside Schwarzenegger. He played Hawkins who was, unfortunately, the aggressive alien’s first kill.
