Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson isn’t exactly a huge name in horror, but we’ve been keeping our eyes on his upcoming film Rampage for one reason: It looks freaking amazing! Based on the popular arcade game from the 1980s, it nonetheless looks like an incredible creature feature with humongous thrills and high-octane action.

Originally slated for release on April 20th, we got word last night that Rampage has been pushed forward a week. The new release date is April 13th. So, instead of premiering on an unofficial stoner holiday, it’ll come on a day horror fans can’t help but love: Friday the 13th!
Warner Bros is going one week earlier with Rampage on April 13, instead of April 20, which will give the New Line release some breathing room prior to Disney/Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War jump-starting the summer one weekend earlier.
Check out the trailer and synopsis below. Rampage is directed by Brad Peyton; in addition to Johnson, the film stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Will Yun Lee, and Malin Akerman.
