The upcoming remake of Suspiria is both hotly-anticipated and utterly nebulous. In fact, we’re not even 100% sure it’s a remake—it could quite easily be a sequel. And though the film has screened overseas, reviews in the US have been sparse; there’s no trailer and even the poster is annoyingly generic (below).

Suspiria is directed by Luca Guadagnino and stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Dakota Johnson, and Tilda Swinton. Look for it in US Theaters beginning November 2nd. In the meantime, peep the trailer, synopsis, and poster for the original Suspiria (directed by Dario Argento and released in 1977) below.
Official Synopsis: Suzy (Jessica Harper) travels to Germany to attend ballet school. When she arrives, late on a stormy night, no one lets her in, and she sees Pat (Eva Axén), another student, fleeing from the school. When Pat reaches her apartment, she is murdered. The next day, Suzy is admitted to her new school but has a difficult time settling in. She hears noises and often feels ill. As more people die, Suzy uncovers the terrifying secret history of the place.
