Despite the recent 2-month postponement of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (now slated for a May 2019 release), Kaiju fever is on the rise, thanks in part to Toho’s announcement that they will be creating a monster-verse and the success of the anime Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters. It’s the perfect time for a retrospective on Godzilla, one that focuses on the iconic reptile’s evolution over the years.
