We’ve seen a few stunning trailers surface today, but in terms of sheer visual quality, I Am Not a Serial Killer just might be the best of the bunch. The snowy locations and the gloom of the story are alarming factors themselves, but when you really study the trailer and see the implications, well, that’s when things begin to feel creepy. Really creepy.
We don’t intend to oversell this one, but we do urge you to take a peek at the trailer (the poster is awesome as well). You may discover a film you’ve been waiting to see, even if you didn’t realize it.
Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Max Records (Where the Wild Things Are), Karl Geary (The Burrowers) and Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad) star
I Am Not a Serial Killer is scheduled to hit VOD on August 26th.
Synopsis: Sixteen-year old John Cleaver is dangerous, and he knows it. He’s obsessed with serial killers, but really doesn’t want to become one. Terrible impulses constantly tempt him, so for his own sake, and the safety of those around, he lives by rigid rules to keep himself “good” and “normal”. However, when a real monster shows up in his town he has to let his dark side out in order to stop it – but without his rules to keep him in check, he might be more dangerous than the monster he’s trying to kill.
