Carrie is a fantastic film adaptation of Stephen King’s book. One that DePalma has influenced tons of filmmakers with. Then there was the pseudo-sequel and then the remake with Chloe Grace Moretz. Now we find out that the legacy of Carrie White will not die.
Collider is reporting today that another adaptation of the now-iconic film is in the works as a limited series from FX and MGM.
Jeff Sneider from Collider had this to say:
“Though it’s still very early in the development process and there’s no script yet, sources say that this time around, telekinetic teen Carrie White will likely be played by either a trans performer or an actress of color rather than a cis white woman.”
