Remember when we reported that Cloverfield Station (previously called God Particle), the 3rd film in the Cloverfield franchise, had been rescheduled from February to May? Well, rumors are swirling that Netflix is in talks with Paramount to purchase the film, meaning it could arrive on the streaming giant before April 20th.
Netflix and Paramount had no comment on the possible deal for “God Particle,” also known as “Cloverfield Station,” which has an April 20 release date in North America. The movie was originally going to open in February 2017 and has been delayed three times.

Theory: We also recently reported that there’s a rumor positing A Quiet Place, also set for release this April, is a “secret” Cloverfield movie. Could this be the movie Netflix is actually purchasing? And what about the WWII sci-fi, Overlord, currently in the works at Bad Robot, and slated for release in 2019? Is this a Cloverfield movie and, if so, could this be the film at the center of discussions?
