The theatrical release of Annabelle: Creation is still over 2 months away, but the film had its North American premiere last night as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival (LAFF). Initial reviews aren’t just good—they’re freaking phenomenal. A few hours after reviews hit the net, producers unexpectedly dropped an incredible 2-minute trailer and, frankly, I’m hooked.
Okay, I wasn’t overly thrilled with the first Annabelle film released in 2014, and yeah, I wasn’t hugely impressed with director David F. Sandberg’s debut feature, Lights Out, but this trailer for Annabelle: Creation is scary AF! There are plenty of exciting plot details, disturbing imagery, and genuinely well-executed jump scares. And did I mention it’s over 2 minutes!
