Though it faced stiff competition in 2017, the M. Night Shyamalan-helmed Split was a fine effort, a definite return to form for the director who shot to prominence before a string of missteps threatened to make him a Hollywood mockery. One of the most exciting aspects of Split is that it established a universe that was shared with Shyamalan’s past hit Unbreakable.
Shyamalan recently wrapped filming on Glass, and shared a chunk of Act 1 with his producers. Relaying their feedback with his Twitter followers, the filmmaker informs that the it was graciously received.
