We here at Horror Freak News like to report the news. Things that we can firmly grab a hold of. But this time the rumor is so good that we have to spread the word about it to everyone who visits our site!
The seemingly on-again, off-again remake of the cult classic LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. No word on if its a remake of the Roger Corman version from 1960 or the 1986 version directed by Frank Oz, although early reports are that it WILL be a musical.
The real meat and potatoes of these rumors, however, are the ones that have to do with the casting. Namely in the roles of Audrey and Audrey II. It would appear that they are going for Billy Porter, famous for his time on both stage and screen to voice the talking plant named after Seymour’s girlfriend, Audrey. Who has been rumored to be played by the enigmatic Lady Gaga famous for not only her musical career but for her roles on American Horror Story and the recent remake of A Star Is Born for which she was nominated for Best Actress.
Now, it has to be stated that these are all rumors and to not be taken as confirmed but it’s definitely something for you to chew on around the water cooler until the final announcements are made in regards to the film going forward.
