The race is on to complete Blumhouse’s Halloween in time for it’s slated October 19th release date. I say “race” because the film is still shooting, which means they need to complete the set work and all of the post-production in the next 270 days! Proof that everyone is hard at work came from original Halloween star, Jamie Lee Curtis, who Tweeted a behind-the-scenes pic.
Looks like Laurie Strode will be packing heat!

In addition to Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle, the actors who played Laurie Strode and The Shape respectively in John Carpenter’s Halloween, the cast of the reboot also includes Will Patton, Judy Greer, Ginny Gardner, Miles Robbins, Dylan Arnold, Drew Scheid, and Andi Matichak. The FX team includes Christopher Nelson and Vincent Van Dyke. The film is directed by David Gordon Green from a script he co-scribed with Danny McBride.
Blumhouse aims to release Halloween on October 19th, just in time to coincide with the original Halloween’s 40th Anniversary. We don’t have an official artwork or a trailer yet, but we’ll bring you additional news as details emerge. Stay tuned!
