According to the website for the British Board of Film Classifications, the Insidious franchise is shedding its “Chapter” designation in favor of a new title; when the film arrives in early January 5th, the fourth installment of the wildly successful supernatural series from Blumhouse will be called Insidious: The Last Key.

The site also reveals 2 trailers have been completed for the film (one is 2 minutes, the other is 1 minute) and both are set for release the first week in December. So far, all we’ve seen for The Last Key (previously titled Insidious: Chapter 4) is the short teaser below.
Official Synopsis: Dr. Elise Rainier, the brilliant parapsychologist, faces her most fearsome and personal haunting yet: in her own family home.
Insidious: The Last Key is directed by Adam Robitel from a script penned by Leigh Whannell; the film stars Josh Stewart, Javier Botet, and Lin Shaye.
We also recently announced that an Insidious-themed maze called Beyond the Further will be a component of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights celebrations at Universal Studios.
