There are a ton of movies hitting Netflix next month and, as usual, we’ve put together a list of the flicks horror fans will be most interested in. September isn’t looking like the greatest month for new arrivals, but there are more than a few films we’re excited to check out. Arriving September 1st
After being released from a psychiatric hospital, a man comes into his inheritance when his parents die, However, after a series of mysterious events, he comes to the conclusion the house that his parents left him is haunted.
Peter Jackson’s expansive remake of the 1933 classic follows director Carl Denham (Jack Black) and his crew on a journey from New York City to the ominous Skull Island to film a new movie. Accompanying him are playwright Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) and actress Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts), who is whisked away by the monstrous ape, Kong, after they reach the island. The crew encounters dinosaurs and other creatures as they race to rescue Ann, while the actress forms a bond with her simian captor.
After a mysterious global crisis, a young girl is left alone to hide from a malevolent power that stalks her home. Her parents eventually return, and the struggle begins to save their daughter.
The Keeping Hours
A lawyer sees the ghost of his dead son, which leads the man’s estranged wife back into his life.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Chrissie (Jordana Brewster) and her friends (Matthew Bomer, Taylor Handley, Diora Baird) set out on a road trip for a final fling before one is shipped off to Vietnam. Along the way, bikers (Lee Tergesen, Cyia Batten) harass the foursome and cause an accident that throws Chrissie from the vehicle. The lawman who arrives on the scene kills one of the bikers and brings Chrissie’s friends to the Hewitt homestead, where young Leatherface (Andrew Bryniarski) is learning the tools of terror.

In 1630 New England, panic and despair envelop a farmer, his wife, and their children when youngest son Samuel suddenly vanishes. With suspicion and paranoia mounting, twin siblings Mercy and Jonas suspect Thomasin of witchcraft, testing the clan’s faith, loyalty, and love to one another.
