While unused concept art for films is always interesting, it’s usually of little consequence. In the case of the Alien franchise, however, concept art may be all we have to look forward to. Despite Ridley Scott’s constant chatter about an Alien: Covenant sequel, Alien: Awakening, more recent reports indicate the project has already been scrapped by 21st Century Fox; that studio’s impending sale to Disney throws the future of the franchise further into question.

If concept art is all we’ll be seeing of the Alien universe forevermore, I’ll definitely gobble it up! We’ve previously shared Neill Blomkamp’s unused art for Alien 5, as well as Carlos Huante’s work on Alien: Covenant. Recently, artist Khang Le also shared some of his unused designs from Covenant—and they’re stunning!
