When Alien: Covenant star Katherine Waterson was asked about the status of a sequel on the film’s 1-year anniversary, she said she hadn’t heard anything from Ridley Scott in months; a bad sign to be certain. Wayne Haag was one of the primary designers on Alien: Covenant; the high-concept artist Tweeted about a new project he’s working on with none other than Ridley Scott. When asked directly if he was talking about Awakening, Haag was deliciously evasive.
Even if Haag isn’t talking about Alien: Awakening, the fact that Ridley Scott is working on something, anything, will always make the news. Obviously, we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground to see what pans out. Stay tuned!
