It’s been a while since the boys at We Watched a Movie gave us a rundown of news and rumors surrounding the production of Blumhouse’s Halloween reboot (slated to hit theaters on October 19th). Indeed, there’s been little news to report since primary filming wrapped recently in Charleston, South Carolina.

Today, they’re sharing some rumors and conjecture certain to get Halloween fans salivating. Jason Blum recently Tweeted a rough cut of the film could be done is as little as 6 weeks, leading the hosts to opine we could see a trailer as early as May. Other speculations center on Dr. Loomis and the possibility that there might be 2 Michael Myers. Say what?

Here’s what we know so far about Blumhouse’s Halloween:
Official Synopsis: Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Blumhouse’s Halloween is aiming for an October 19th release date. In addition to Curtis, the film also features original Shape actor Nick Castle reprising the role of Michael Myers. Other cast members include Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Virginia Gardner, Miles Robbins, and Will Patton. The film is directed by David Gordon Green from a script he co-scribed with his frequent collaborator Danny McBride.
