Momentum Pictures will release their latest found footage horror thriller Indigenous on VOD December 8, 2015. The film was released earlier this year in the Philippines and follows American Tourists who travel to Panama and have a terrifying experience.
The movie introduces the world to ‘Chupacabra,’ a ferocious monster that has not been seen in mainstream cinema but is notorious in various parts of the world.
Indigenous is directed by Alastair Orr and stars Zachary Soetenga, Lindsey McKeon, Sofia Pernas, Pierson Fode, and Jamie Anderson.
Synopsis: A group of 5 youthful buddies travel from Los Angeles to exotic Panama for a week of partying in dense tropical heaven. Befriending a lovely local woman in their hotel bar, they learn of a hidden jungle hike to a waterfall nearby. The woman warns them firmly against the hike, warning that other gringos in search of the legendary waterfall had mysteriously vanished into the jungle, never to be seen or heard from again.
Ignoring her warnings, the group assures the woman to lead them to the picturesque waterfall, considering they have nothing to be afraid about with a local as their leader. What begins as a fun vacation quickly turns terrifying when their guide vanishes following a romantic tryst at the waterfalls. As night closes in, the comrades realize too late the truth behind her warnings, bloodthirsty, flesh-eating creatures are now tracking them. The mangled survivors rush to caves for shelter, only to realize they’ve entered the monsters’ lair!
