We’re still a day away from the first full-length trailer, but a ton of new details surfaced for the upcoming Jurassic World sequel. While we don’t have an official synopsis, Entertainment Weekly got the low-down, including an exclusive first look (featuring puny humans facing off against a baby T-Rex!) [Featured Image]. Here’s everything we know so far about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The tagline, Life Finds a Way, is clearly an allusion to the famous line spoken by Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) in previous Jurassic chapters.
“Claire’s founded an organization, Dinosaur Protection Group, and they’re finding a way to get these dinosaurs off the island,” [Bryce Dallas] Howard says. “She reaches out to Owen Grady to let him know this is happening.” Hmm. “Reaches out”? It seems Howard and Pratt’s burgeoning relationship now falls under the heading of “It’s complicated.” “When you see them at the beginning of this story, you get caught up as to what’s going on,” Howard says. “But it’s not what you would necessarily expect.”
With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with one of the most popular and successful franchises in cinema history, this all-new motion-picture event sees the return of favorite characters and dinosaurs—along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by J.A. Bayona and stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, and Jeff Goldblum. It’ll hit US Theaters on June 22nd.
