Production on the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel, Leatherface seems to be just about wrapped. It’s behind schedule, as some much needed additional photography demanded that the crew head for Bulgaria to seal the deal on all mandatory visuals. This was just a few weeks ago, so we could already be well into the post production phase.
While it is a bit of a bummer to know there’s been a delay in the production process, we do walk away with a consolation prize in the form of a couple of cool behind-the-scenes images in addition to a new still pic posted to producer Christa Campbell’s Instagram account.

Synopsis: A young nurse is kidnapped by a group of violent teens who escape from a mental hospital and take her on a road trip from hell. Pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface.
