Rob Zombie’s retro clown-centric slasher will go down in history as one of 2016’s most violent and divisive horror movies. After it was butchered by the MPAA in order to obtain an R-rating, Zombie had previously promised an Unrated Director’s Cut would make its way to Horror Freaks when 31 hits Blu-ray and DVD later this year. We now have a release date for 31 on DVD, along with details on the extras fans can expect.
31 will be released on December 20th, meaning it could make the perfect Holiday gift for the Horror Freak in your life.
Starring Malcolm McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Richard Brake, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Meg Foster, 31 will be hitting DVD and Blu-ray on December 20th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Both discs will include a feature-length commentary from Zombie himself, plus a 2-hour “Making Of” documentary on the film. Additionally, the Blu-ray comes with a Digital HD copy of the film, which also features a 4-hour extended cut of the “Making Of” documentary exclusive to that format.
