I’ve just experienced the best Halloween fan film I’ve seen in my life. Avoiding stale slasher tropes, Halloween Reflections infuses classic mythology with modern twists. Like Blumhouse’s upcoming Halloween reboot (slated for release on October 19th), Reflections ignores all but the first 2 Halloween films.
While Rob Zombie’s Halloween stumbled in its attempt to give Michael Myers a convincing backstory, Reflections explores the roots of his family tree, taking us back to the days of the Salem witch trials. It explains why Myers targets his family specifically and the source of his superhuman abilities. The story is set at a typical gathering of friends, where someone is named Aubrey and another bears a striking resemblance to Michael’s original nemesis.

Official Synopsis: It’s 2018 and movie monsters like Freddy, Jason and Chucky exist only on the big screen. However, infamous serial killer Michael Myers is very much real. Twenty years have passed since the Hillcrest Academy massacre and 4 friends discussing the story get more than they bargained for. Halloween Reflections a Fan Made Series Real Actors. Real Crew. Really Cool.
Halloween Reflections is written and directed by Jason Costa and stars Lovina Yavari, Aniko Kaszas, and Adam Maros.
