If you enjoyed JJ Abrams’ big budget found footage film, Cloverfield, chances are you’re going to love the sequel, 10 Cloverfield Lane. The handy-cam approach has been done away with, but the insanity appears to be just as intense in round two. And, to the joy of many, this follow-up features an amazing cast of genre familiars and highly refined performers.
A brand new TV spot went live during the return of AMC’s The Walking Dead, and we’re of the opinion that you should definitely check it out. We don’t see too much of the big bad critters who turned New York into a pile of rubble, but we do get some tense footage to admire.
You can check out the new teaser below.
10 Cloverfield Lane stars John Goodman (The Big Lebowski, Fallen), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Death Proof, The Thing), John Gallagher, Jr. (The Good Student, Jonah Hex), Mat Vairo (Revolution, The Returned) and Cindy Hogan (Beautiful Creatures, The Devil Incarnate).
Look for it in theaters on March 11, 2016.
Written by Josh Campbell, Matt Stuecken, and Damien Chazelle, the film was directed by first-time feature length helmer, Dan Trachtenberg.
Synopsis: Waking up from a car accident, a young woman finds herself in the basement of a man who says he’s saved her life from a chemical attack that has left the outside uninhabitable.
