Horror movies and artisan brews make for an awesome combination at the Fantastic Cinema and Craft Beer Festival. The annual shindig will celebrate its 3rd year in Little rock, Arkansas, from March 29 thru April 2, 2017. Having attended the event myself earlier this year, I can attest that this is definitely a hell of a good time; Horror Freaks with the means are definitely encouraged to attend!
The organizers of the Fantastic Cinema and Craft Beer Festival are now accepting submissions from filmmakers looking to participate.
From the Official Press Release:
With a mission to screen innovative and imaginative films, the Fantastic Cinema and Craft Beer Festival is now seeking submissions from bold visionaries who are not afraid to do what it takes to create films that challenge, inspire, and ultimately thrill audiences. These fantastic films will be presented alongside the very best craft beer from the state of Arkansas for audience and filmmaker refreshment. The third year of this successful festival looks to include an even broader mix of Animation, Dark Comedy, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, and everything in between—while further incorporating local craft beer throughout the screenings and festival.
The 2016 Fantastic Film Festival screened films hot off world premieres at festivals such as SXSW and Sundance Film Festival. “The Smiling Man,” last year’s Best Short Film winner was picked up by Crypt TV where it has been viewed over 5 million times.
Filmmakers wishing to be included in the 2017 festival can submit entries via Film Freeway, HERE.
