You know how someone figured out that The Wizard of Oz maps up perfectly to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon? Well, more recently, Twitter user Captain Video figured out that the H.P. Lovecraft poem Nemesis tracks almost perfectly to Billy Joel’s seminal ballad Piano Man.

Our friends at Birth.Movies.Death caught wind of the Tweet and challenged their readers to put the theory to the test with an actual recording. Proof that the Internet is a wonderful thing (and that many folks have entirely too much time on their hands!) YouTuber AP Clarke rose to the challenge. The result is Nemesis Man by “R’Lyeh Joel”.
Yes, we’re having a nerdgasm over here!
Give it a spin below and let us know what you think in the Comments section! And if you need a comparison to prove just how spot on Nemesis Man is, you can give Billy Joel’s original a spin below that. Enjoy!
