Judith Margaret Myers – (November 10, 1947 – October 31, 1963)
On October 19th, Michael Myers will attempt to finish the job he started back in 1978: Murdering his younger sister Cindy, now known as Laurie Strode. Though the upcoming film will ignore all Halloween films besides the original, the turbulent relationship between these two siblings is the stuff of legend, making their impending show-down an exciting prospect.
The fact that Michael’s relationship with Laurie has been intensely analyzed has caused many fans to completely forget about The Shape’s first victim: His older sister Judith Myers. Though we hardly knew her, she’s extremely important to understanding Michael’s transition from an innocuous tyke to the manifestation of pure evil.
YouTuber King Se7en has put together an incredible, well-researched retrospective of Michael’s forgotten sister, Judith Myers. Culling info from the official Halloween Wikipedia, The Story of Judith Myers goes beyond merely recapping the events of her murder; it explores her relationship with Michael before her death, and what transpired in the immediate aftermath of her murder.
