With 11 installments since 1989, not to mention a non-canonical crossover and 2 comic book mini-series, the Puppet Master franchise has endured longer than most creative institutions could ever dream. Launched in the immediate aftermath of films like Dolls and the wildly successful Child’s Play franchise, Puppet Master was a pioneer of anthropomorphic puppet horror, upping the ante with significant gore and irreverence.
The latest installment in the Puppet Master franchise is currently in the works, and producers in Texas are seeking horror fans to be a part of it! Here’s a bit of the casting announcement posted by the Dallas Film Commission:

Cinestate is casting background talent for Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, filming March 27-April 15 in Dallas, TX. Casting Directors are looking for men and women ages 18+ of all looks and ethnicities to work as extras during principal photography.

Here’s the Official Synopsis for Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, per IMDB: follows a recently divorced young man who discovers a mint condition Blade doll in his deceased brother’s closet and plans to sell the toy at a convention in Oregon celebrating the 30th anniversary of the infamous Toulon Murders. All hell breaks loose during the auction when a strange force animates all of the puppets throughout the convention, setting them on a bloody killing spree.
Sonny Laguna and Tommy Wiklund are directing from a script penned by Bone Tomahawk scribe S. Craig Zahler; the film stars Udo Kier.
