When I saw the trailer for American Vandal, I thought it was a joke; it wouldn’t be the first time skilled video-editors have added the Netflix logo to a faux teaser (remember The Addams Family series?). The trend of binge-watchers obsessed with procedural documentaries made it seem like a timely gag. I was stunned when I dug deeper and discovered that, while the story is obviously fiction, the show is 100% real! Have a look at the hilarious trailer below.

The cast includes: Tyler Alvarez, Griffin Gluck, Jimmy Tatro, Camille Hyde, Eduardo Franco, Lukas Gage, Jessica Juarez, Lou Wilson, Camille Ramsey, Calum Worthy, and G. Hannelius.
American Vandal launches globally on Netflix on Sept. 15.
