The psycho-supernatural shocker Shut In will hit US theaters on November 11th. The trailer (below) features Naomi Watts as a child psychologist with a paraplegic teenager and an adopted son who scores high on the Creepy-Kid-Meter. With elements of Rear Window, The Bad Seed, Misery, and The Sixth Sense, Shut In looks both emotionally devastating and intensely suspenseful.
Official Synopsis: “A child psychologist living an isolated life in rural New England is struggling to put her life back together after the loss of her husband. She’s a strong woman whose courage is put to the test when she’s caught in a deadly storm, trapped in her home, and cut off from the world around her.”
Shut In is directed by Farren Blackburn based on a screenplay by Christina Hodson, In addition to Watts, the film stars Jacob Tremblay (Room), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) and Oliver Platt (Flatliners, Lake Placid).
