We’re only about 25 days away from the hotly anticipated release of Andrés Muschietti’s IT, based on the novel by Stephen King and featuring Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise. If you just can’t wait to know more details, however, and the trailers haven’t sated your appetite, some leaked audio might just blow your mind! Making the rounds on several (many) Stephen King forums and Facebook groups, the audio below is purportedly pulled directly from the film.

The original poster swears it’s legitimate; in the accompanying scene, Pennywise is said to be going completely crazy (“He’s freaking out Roger Rabbit style!”). Muschietti had previously claimed that Skarsgård’s portrayal of the infamous “Dancing Clown” was so intense the younger actors were seriously intimidated.
Muschietti: “The day that [Pennywise] showed up on the stage, they fucking freaked out. Bill is like, seven-foot high, and I can’t describe how scary he looks in person. He’s a wiry man, crouching, making sounds, snotting, drooling, speaking in Swedish sometimes. Terrifying.”
Strap on some headphones and get ready for some seriously terrifying audio torture! After giving it a spin, let us know what you think in the Comments section.
IT hits theaters on September 8th. Check out the trailer and synopsis below.
