Last January, we first got word of a feature-length documentary in the works about the IT miniseries from 1990, featuring Tim Curry in a legendary turn as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, aka Mr. Robert Gray. The project is being helmed by the same team that bright us Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser and Hellraiser II in 2015. We recapped an interview with Dead Mouse Productions co-founder Christopher Griffiths. To recap:
Christopher Griffiths: “2017 is set to be a big year for Dead Mouse Productions, seeing the release of our upcoming Robocop documentary, which is set to be mammoth given we have executed over 80 interviews for it already. Then there is our debut narrative short, The Offer, featuring Hellraiser alumni, Simon Bamford, Nicholas Vince, Barbie Wild and Ken Cranham. Lastly, we have been working with John Campopiano (Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Semetary) on an IT documentary, so we are certainly keeping ourselves occupied.”
