We’re just a week away from the premiere of The Mist TV series on Spike; the 10-episode season is an adaptation of the novella by Stephen King and Frank Darabont’s 2007 feature-film. While showrunner Christian Torpe has promised a distinct reimagining, one that will feature human terrors over supernatural creatures, there’s no denying that the Lovecraftian beasties that inhabit The Mist are a huge part of the story’s appeal.
