He did it all for the nookie—now he’s directing a horror movie with John Travolta!
When I read the headline in Variety, I thought April Fool’s Day had come early! Apparently, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is directing a horror movie and it’s based on his own life—and yes, it’s starring John Travolta playing the title character “Moose”. The film will also feature Idle Hands and Final Destination star Devon Sawa
No, I’m serious!
Based on events from Durst’s own life, “Moose” was written by Durst with Dave Bekerman. Travolta is playing the title character, a rabid movie fan obsessed with his favorite celebrity action hero, portrayed by Devon Sawa. As Moose’s obsession grows stronger, his fixation turns from stalking to ambition of destroying the star’s life — a story inspired by a real-life fan who stalked Durst many years ago.
