We’d seen some bits and pieces in teaser form, but late last night, Blomkamp dropped a full 22-minute film: Rakka (starring Sigourney Weaver)! We’ve got a full breakdown/review in the works, but we wanted to share it with you while it’s hot off the presses. Have a watch, and prepare to be amazed!
Official Synopsis: RAKKA is the story of broken humanity following the invasion of a technologically superior alien species. Bleak harrowing and unrelenting, the humans we meet must find enough courage to go on fighting. Rakka is the first short film from Oats Studios.
