The intellectual shocker The Good Neighbor launched its limited theatrical release in the US today; the film is also available on VOD platforms. Described as “Rear Window for the Internet age” the film appears to mesh found footage with courtroom psycho-drama. Check out the trailer below, as well as a clip that describes “Little Albert”, a young boy who was warped by bizarre scientific experimentation.
Official Synopsis: “Mysterious events occur in The Good Neighbor when two high school filmmakers decide to create the illusion of a haunting on an unsuspecting neighbor. The fun begins as the duo’s suspicions grow and, as the tension mounts, they realize too late that the man they’re manipulating is the last person they should’ve chosen for their project.”
The Good Neighbor was directed by Kasra Farahani from a screenplay penned by Mark Bianculli. The film stars James Caan, Logan Miller, Keir Gilchrist, Laura Innes, Edwin Hodge, Bailey Noble, Lili Reinhart, Anne Dudek, Mindy Sterling, and Tamlyn Tomita.
