Regular readers of Horror Freak News know that we’re huge fans of Jeremy Slater’s TV series adaptation of The Exorcist, which ran on Fox in 2016. Despite amassing a rabid cult following, the show wasn’t the ratings juggernaut the network hoped it would be. Still, fans launched a series of campaigns under the hashtag #RenewTheExorcist, one of which included inundating Fox Headquarters with red feathers. Well, it looks like this passionate outpouring may have paid off. An industry report just released via Deadline all but confirms The Exorcist Season 2 will come to fruition!
Despite not getting a back order, there is talk that well-received new drama Exorcist also looks good to come back [at Fox].
