We’re still over a year away from a 3-monster showdown between Godzilla, Rodan, and King Ghidorah battle for supremacy in Mike Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters; still that film’s follow-up, the much-anticipated Godzilla vs Kong is set to begin filming this October. Omega Underground broke the news.
Per Omega Underground:
Omega Underground has learned that filming is expected to begin on October 1st and will wrap around February of next year. This would give Adam and his team plenty of time before the effects-heavy film’s 2020 release date.
Though the site doesn’t offer a source, they did correctly predict the production date for Godzilla 2, so their record is sterling. We’ll keep our ears to the ground in order to bring you King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs Kong news as details emerge. Stay tuned!
